A growing technology firm in Marathahalli was expanding from an open-plan floor to a mixed layout with eight enclosed cabins, a conference room, and a dedicated HR area — all to be carved from a single open space with no existing partitions.
Designed a full partition layout with 8 private cabins, one 12-person conference room, and a partitioned HR bay. Each cabin used 70mm GI stud partitions with double-layer gypsum on both sides for privacy, glasswool infill for acoustic insulation, and all cabin entries aligned with existing floor tiles to avoid visible cuts.
The office now functions as a mixed open-and-enclosed environment. Conversations in cabins are inaudible from adjacent workstations, and the conference room partition achieved full sound privacy, confirmed by a clap-test during handover.
