A new villa in Hebbal had been plastered by a contractor using inconsistent cement-to-sand ratios, resulting in walls with varying surface hardness and texture. The client's interior designer specified a micro-cement textured finish for the living areas — a product requiring an exceptionally flat substrate to perform correctly.
Applied full POP punning throughout the villa, with a thicker 3-4mm coat in areas identified as having the poorest base plaster quality. All living area walls were finished to a tolerance of 2mm over 3 metres — verified with a straightedge before the designer's substrate inspection.
The micro-cement application went on without any surface-related failures. The product bonded consistently and the finish texture is uniform throughout. The interior designer credited the POP punning quality as essential to the micro-cement result, and has since specified Elysian on three subsequent projects.
