Multi-level POP tray ceiling with cove lighting — 3BHK apartment

Challenge

The apartment had low ceiling height (8.5 feet) and the client wanted a multi-level design without making the rooms feel cramped. Multiple AC indoor units needed concealment.

Solution

Designed a peripheral tray ceiling with a narrow 6-inch drop, keeping the centre flat and open. AC units were concealed within the tray profiles using custom POP enclosures with ventilation slots. Cove lighting was added to create an illusion of height.

Outcome

The apartment feels taller than it is. The cove lighting creates a floating effect around each room, and the AC units are completely hidden. The client reported multiple compliments from guests.
